I started doing crossfit as soon as I got done with football about 3 years ago. I weighed about 300 lbs and had multiple nagging injuries. I noticed after my first couple months I lost 20 lbs and any imbalances I had due to injury started to go away! I also enjoy how everything is scalable to each individual person. The community of CrossFit is one of a kind!
Why CrossFit Ballwin?
I noticed right away this gym was about the community not about trying to get someone to the CrossFit games. A lot of different cultures but everybody has the same goal to better their lives! You feel welcome right away!
My 1st CrossFit Experience?
DT which is a hero workout. A hero workout means the workout was named after a person that gave their life for other people either to help, protect that person. So going into it you want to give it everything you got. Least to say I was on the ground 6 min later barely breathing and not being able to feel my grip. I was hooked after that!
What Drives Me?
It drives me everyday watching people achieve things they have been working towards and being able to be apart of that process as a coach! Nothing is more satisfying as changing peoples lives to better themselves!!
My Biggest Achievement?
Being a coach plain and simple! To be able to get the chance to make a difference in someone’s life every single day makes life worth living!
