I chose CrossFit because it was the best way to prepare my body for the rigors of being an infantryman in the Marine Corps. I needed to find a good combination of stamina and strength that would allow me to perform under any situation.
Why CrossFit Ballwin?
CrossFit Ballwin was a good fit for me because of the people there. The community it has makes it feel like home. Getting to know Trent and seeing that he wants the best for each of his athletes proves he genuinely cares about what he is creating.
My 1st CrossFit Experience?
My 1st CrossFit experience was in 2009. I was deployed and on board the USS Boxer, somewhere in the Gulf of Aden when my Platoon Commander ordered me to do “Murph” with him. I had no idea what that was. It’s safe to say I threw up on the deck and was hooked ever since.
What Drives Me?
What drives me is seeing an athlete doing a movement or lift that they never thought was possible, and doing it the right way.
My Biggest Achievement?
My biggest achievement was becoming a Tactical Operations Officer with St. Louis County. It was a dream job for me and I didn’t quit until I obtained it.
Favorite CrossFit Exercise?
I’m excited to coach at CrossFit Ballwin and meet everyone.
