Because Crossfit has everything in it. From Strength Training to aerobic training; from gymnastic training to Strongman training; from physical training to mental training. If you really want to push your limits and see the amazing things that your body and mind can do, I challenge you to do CF.
Why CrossFit Ballwin?
I had visited one other CF in the area, but the feeling of camaraderie wasn’t there, it just didn’t feel like a family. When I first met Trent, I immediately knew I would really enjoy being a part of the CFB family. The sense of camaraderie was incredible! The first WOD that I attended as an athlete I was welcomed with opened arms by the other members and the coach, I felt right at home.
My 1st CrossFit Experience?
Man, this is quite a bit dated ha. It was the summer of 2013. I was just about to start my internship at CF417 in Ozark, MO under the guidance of Jared Stevens. I had never attempted a WOD before so Jared told me to come to one of the classes to try it out and see if I liked it. Well needless to say I went to the 6am class, since I am an early riser. When I get there, I took a look at the workout, I can’t remember what the numbers were exactly, but it had OH lunges, OH squats and sit ups for time. I saw it and in the back of my head I said “Pff, I got this.” Well needless to say at the end of the WOD I was on my back, panting, drenched in sweat and tears (not really the tears), and ready to get started with CF.
What Drives Me?
My family is my biggest drive, followed by fear of being average.
My Biggest Achievement?
I had never though of my Biggest Achievement, I personally don’t think I have gotten there yet, but I definitely am very proud of the little things that I have done for people, that have helped them change their way of life.
